Born, raised and classically trained as a chef in Ohio, Ken has always been passionately influenced by food, its culture and aesthetics.
First and foremost Ken is a professional chef. However, he has always been interested in documenting the beauty of food. A self-taught photographer, he started with a older camera using slides and experimenting with medium format and camera obscura at a time when digital just wasn’t an option.
Ken has been working as a chef, and kept a parallel passion for photography, until his work in the kitchen and the photo studio naturally evolved towards food photography.. He is available for freelance work, projects and assignments.
